Sadie's Seeds: Personality Info & question thread for potential adopters
hey all --
I thought i would start a thread all about Sadie's little munchkins  http://www.spbr.org/featuredpets/sad...ienbabes.htm#8 I will start with adding information about each of them as individuals -- I am inviting everyone to ask any and all questions they may have about them! Until recently - I had all the pups - on Saturday, June 6th - 3 of them went to foster with Suzy (suzysidetrack) and her family to help me out  (thank you suzy and hubby!)I have: Blossom, Flower, Violet, Tulip, Petunia, Lilly and Aspen Suzy now has: Lacey, Sparky and Daffodil Mama Sadie is very sweet girl - i think pit and boxer mix - approx 45 lbs. Their daddy is a black lab mix (with longer fur) - we did get pics of him. He is approx 50 lbs (joanne is this accurate?) so here goes: blossom - ADOPTED! was very small when she came to me and very lethargic. she is a determined little girl and got healthy and strong with each passing day. she is very funny and makes us laugh. my daughter especially loves her. she is affectionately called 'fluffernutter' - she is so darn cute! daffodil - ADOPTED! is a good size girl and has lots of extra skin - but who knows if she will grow into it! she is a very silly girl and loves to romp around with the other babies. she then loves to cuddle up as close as she can! she is such a hoot! flower - adoption pending named by my 4 yr old son b/c she is 'so sweet', her face says it all - she is such a little lover, sure she loves to play - but in the lap is where it's at! flower has an adorable perfect circle on her back end at the start of her tail - just look at that face! she is as sweet as honey! lacey - ADOPTED! lacey is so beautiful, her coat is a dark chocolate brown kind of like her mama. she is really beyond sweet and loves to be held near you and kiss your cheek. i really love that little girl! lilly - ADOPTED! lilly is so beautiful like her 'almost twin' lacey - she has the cutest little white tip at the end of her tail. lilly loves to be held - but she is also quite the character! she loves to bounce around and play bow! petunia - ADOPTED! oh little petunia is getting so big - she was very small in the beginning and i was a bit worried about her, but like blossom she is a fighter. she has grown into such a sweet and happy little pup. nothing bothers her and she loves everyone who will pay attention to her! tulip - ADOPTED! oh my sweet petite tulip. i love her so. she had such a will to live and has such a desire to please. she is just a little love muffin- i don't know how else to say it! sure she likes to play - but in your lap is the best of all places! violet - has an absolutely beautiful black coat with a little white on her chest and on a couple toes. she has an amazing temperament and will be one of those pups that will do aboslutely anything to please you. she has the most pathetic sad look ever! aspen - ADOPTED! this boy absolutely cracks me up. yes yes he's beautiful - but he has such a funny and quirky personality. he will bounce around at your feet, he loves to play with a ball - but he minute you pick him up --- you find out WHY he's being so funny! all he wants to do is be held! what a sweetie! sparky - ADOPTED! this boy has a wonderful temperament. he is playful yet gentle with the other pups even though he is bigger than a lot of them! when everyone gets all amped up with playtime - he sits down in the middle and watches everyone around him!! he seems pretty mellow even for his age. these threads have pictures and updates about our adventures!! http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=50394 http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=50211 http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=50176 http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=49540 http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=49514 http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...ad.php?t=49242 NEWEST THREAD HERE!!!: http://pbsmiles.org/pbsmiles/upload/...957#post697957 Update on Mama Sadie here!:

eric - i tried to copy your pics in there but it didn't work
 also - besides adding these to the webpage - could you possibly add a link to this thread from the page? it would help anyone looking to not only ask questions but they can see just how awesome this forum is! allison - when you talk to suzy can you get more info from her that she sees from the babies she has?

They all sound so wonderful! How would anyone choose!!! Its so heartwarming to see your children in the pics and to hear about their active role in helping you! "oh the places they'll go and the people they'll meet"!! Those pups are all so blessed!

Great write up Maris! What a great way to introduce them beside having just pictures! They are all so precious and that flower..........OH BOY! I think the band on her tail got me............She had me at behind!!!

Marisa,
that was incredible... I was set on Sparky from the moment I saw his picture but with the write up I just want them all... How do you choose? What a great job you have done and your helpers are wonderful little people that will grow up to be exceptional adults. Great job with both Packs.

i think it's important - sure they are cuties but they are really very different too! we spend a TON of time with them so we really get to know them

lilly is AWESOME!
she has such a great personality -- she's a great balance of active and cuddly. she is not dominant but not the one that gets walked all over either. she really is a great pup - and sooooo pretty with that dark chocolate brown color
